For those of you tracking your cars and having to top off oil, how many miles are currently on your car? I have less than 5k on mine.

16K miles

No noticeable use, just did 7 sessions in two days. I have no catch cans either, not sure if that has any relevance, just throwing it in there.

Mine, 0. During street driving though, that's another story.

None, might get an ounce or two in the catch cans after a hard weekend.

How long did you wait after running the engine before measuring the oil level? Don't we need to wait 20 mins or so to allow the oil to drain out of the engine back into the oil pan?

Also, did you just pull the dip stick out and measure it or did you remove it, wipe it off, re-insert it and then re-measure the level?

I'm sorry, not trying to be a jerk. It's probably just video editing cuts not showing all of the steps you performed. I just checked my own oil level and want to make sure that I'm doing it right. I drove it home from work and let it sit for a while before measuring the oil level. I also removed the stick, wiped it off then re-inserted it before removing it again and measuring the level.

Beautiful car.
