Yes Lund can get you there, (provided everything is mechanically sound) and nothing is more important than the tune. You may be kicking yourself for taking it to whoever installed and tuned it for you, but you will most definitely be kicking yourself when it melts a piston or throws a rod because the tune wasn't legit. I'm not saying that for sure your guy doesn't know what he is doing, but I am for sure saying that Lund and PBD certainly do. Its just not a risk worth taking. Nearly doubling the output of any engine is asking a lot, so a good tune is paramount to making all work reliably. Do you have any data logs from your current tune?
Nothing I got from that guy. Even the installation manual I didn’t even get but I’m getting it Monday or Tuesday. They use their own hp tuners according from them. Well, the shop have good ratings, have dynoed Mustang along with other cars. The car feels smoother and faster than ever. No rattle, ticking, knock, etc. except the head unit spherical gears plus the whistle. The car seems great.

It definitely pulls harder, no lagged, no knock, etc. The car is great and the 305/35/20 Nitto 555r is holding pretty well.
Good final decision on the tires. I'm swapping my 315 555g2 for 305 555r in prep for fi. Plus i spin as it is with the current flex tune. These should hook and not lose it in the rain. Did upgraded half shafts and CF DS as well. Hopefully your OEM axles hold but I'd definitely consider swapping before your first track day. A prepped surface plus p1x and drs and they're begging to go.

As others have said talk to Lund or PBD. They can work wonders with your setup.

The Nitto 555R 305/35/20 has been great punching from 0-60. Tire sticks and hardly move although it’s brand new and 541 rwhp according from the dyno. I’ll wait for the rainy days and test it out. I’m probably slapping my old skinny tires to cruise around just to save this dr’s this summer. From what I have been reading today, I’m leaning towards palm beach though. I’m reading Lund has been giving a bucking tune but Whipple for the most part. I think I’m staying with my current tune after reading a few glitches. My car runs like stock with juice, the cold start definitely toned down, no lagging from start to wot, no crazy noises, etc.. I think I’m tuned pretty safe but I’ll go big one day lol.

Absolutely change them. NGK 6510. Gap them to .028-.030. Rock Auto has the best prices I've found on them.

Thanks and I know how to gap the plugs. How easy to get these plugs removed? I know I can do it but I just don’t have the time to mess with it. A couple of his tops because I work a lot.

I’m not seeing those plugs at rock auto and only saw ngk 6509. I saw the ngk 6510 @ lmr for $90 though.

I just watched a YouTube vid and this job is easier than my old 2002 Mustang Gt.

The plugs are easy man, except the rear passenger one. You're going to need a u-joint or one of the special swivel 5/8 spark plug sockets for that one to go easy because of the box around the battery. I bought a swivel socket on amazon for $10 for the job.

As far as the Lund tune, I went with them from my canned Edelbrock tune and it took about 4-5 days to get the car dialed in with about 20-30 minutes of work a day on my part. Set up, do exactly what the tuner told me while logging and then send it back to him. I'm on my 4th revision of the tune and this one looks final. Very easy process and the car runs amazingly well now.

Also if you haven't already, you should install a 170 degree thermostat. especially with that brutal Texas summer heat. Your tuner will change the cooling fan setting in your tune to switch the cooling fan on at a lower temp. I know Lund already does this for all FI tunes, but I'm sure the others do as well.
