I think he’s being cautious and limited my car potentials. I even went p1x because it’s a better upgrade smh. Or maybe, he’s trying to hook me buying more parts smh.
It is a better upgrade, just need to tune and pully properly and you will have no problems making what you want (within the limits of that blower of course)

What size pulley are you using?
I don’t know yet but I’ll definitely get the manual and parts that came with it. I had the shop ordered it for me but it’s kinda messed up because I have to ask for those items.

It definitely pulls harder, no lagged, no knock, etc. The car is great and the 305/35/20 Nitto 555r is holding pretty well.

Look at the back of the pulley. The size is stamped into it.

I’ll take a look tomorrow and see. They’re on the crankshaft correct? I’m new to this s/c but as expected, it does pull harder on higher end. I like it but like y’all says, I think I can get a few more horses. My old car with 100 shot seems punched and pulls harder. I think the tires and how this car was built has something to do with it as well.

This from my 12 gt dyno. I can see they spun my car 6,800 k rpm from a different shop. What is the max rev for the 15-17 gt? Thanks.

Hey man the pulley size is on the pulley that is bolted on to the supercharger. You should be able to look at the pulley on the zupercharger and it should have a number stamped on it.

I took a look early this morning behind the head unit and couldn’t find the pulley size. I’ll try it again after work. Thank you as well.

It’s 3.70 pulley. What’s next? Car pulls good but of course, this is my first time doing a supercharger.

I don’t think I’ll go back to the same shop because it looks like they’re leaving me hanging. I like how they installed it. It was a clean job and no known noises except the spherical sounds. He told me because that’s how it’s and bring back the car after 500 miles to change the procharger oil.

With the 3.7 pulley on the HO kit, you should be seeing close to 10 psi at sea level, at 7500 RPM. Do not run the engine to 7500 RPM util you get a real tune.

Can Lund tune my car close to that numbers? I just want to break low 6xx’s for now. I have my own sct x4. I’ll pay them to get it right. I’m just disappointed with the shop I had it done. I told them to call me when they dyno my car but that’s even too hard for them smh.

Yes Lund can get you there, (provided everything is mechanically sound) and nothing is more important than the tune. You may be kicking yourself for taking it to whoever installed and tuned it for you, but you will most definitely be kicking yourself when it melts a piston or throws a rod because the tune wasn't legit. I'm not saying that for sure your guy doesn't know what he is doing, but I am for sure saying that Lund and PBD certainly do. Its just not a risk worth taking. Nearly doubling the output of any engine is asking a lot, so a good tune is paramount to making all work reliably. Do you have any data logs from your current tune?
