How many seconds from 60-130 can you do? How many secs should a 840WHP Mustang do? Have a draggy?

I was thinking about buying a Draggy to record my 60-130 times.
How many seconds do you do? What is your setup? Also What should a manual 840WHP procharged Mustang be able to do on 315 drag radials ?

Most measure 60-130 , your setup should be able to get into the high 5’s if driven hard. But mid 6’s is more reasonable

I meant 130. I’m going to get a draggy and check but right now I won’t be able to get traction it’s 30-40 degrees here in michigan. I’m gonna go hard no lift shift either. Hopefully I get into the 5s

With 840 wheel, you should have no problem hitting 5.4-5.8’s depending on weight and DA….

If 10r80 it should be able to do high 4's. Ive done 5.09 with 770 rwhp. With manual high 5s would be excellent.

Most comparisons you'll see are auto guys. The manual may be more fun but the auto is king if your chasing numbers. I'll be interested to see what you end up getting once you get a dragy. My best is low 8s on 8lbs of boost with twins on the street. I'd probably be quicker with a centri at my current boost because once boost hits I'm spinning bad to 80-90ish unless its summer. The linear boost of a centri would help that but the twins are a blast on the street. Despite my low numbers I haven't lost a race to anything since going boost so I'm good. Plus I'm just waiting on my boost controller mount so I can turn it up.

I went 5.3 with 738. 4.4 with ~900.
4.4 with a g3X? How much boost and what does the da look like? Just curious because my buddy has a g3X and I believe this is the fastest I’ve seen from one of these blowers.

Trick is to almost find the lug point of the setup at lower speeds, and let the engine pull into the powerband so you maintain maximum weight transfer. Here’s an example. This was on 275/40/19 555Rll’s.

Cory what gear did you start in… obviously you have a 6r and I have a 10r but trying to find the sweet spot like you did.

2nd. It has to be under 2900rpm when I go WOT, other wise they start to scrub/break loose. With the 10R, I would probably try similar technique but in 3rd gear around 35mph as well.

Good luck! I want to see it. I’m shooting for 4.80’s in the spring sometime. A little more refining and another 130lbs removed.

funny thing, on my 9.53 pass down the 1320, the 60-130 was 5.42.
