Just curious how many people back out of buying a R or gt350 and buy something else?

Probably not too many on this board. Maybe check the porsche forums for those who downgraded to a Cayman GT4 (where's Bossing...). ;-)

I will say that the search for a GT350 at a reasonable price was difficult, and if it wasn't for the help of this forum I may have given up and gone with a C7 Vette.

Ha. That's exactly what I did at first.

Loved my C7 Z51, until I literally stumbled upon a 350 at a deal I could not pass up. Bye bye C7. Still miss it. But I'm consoled by the passion I feel for the 350.

I put the search on ice late last year with crazy markups.

I would of bought a tech with sofa seats, and regretted that due to the
cooler issues, as I will track the car in hot weather.

So the insane ADM's kept me away. Now that you can get 17's for msrp
I bought one. Really did want a GT3, could not bring myself to shell out
that much coin though....

Sure is nice to see GT350 owners absolutely love these cars. I ordered mine in June, and will be picking it up on Monday. Can't wait to listen to the FPC for the first time.
