How true, i only drive mine on the weekends and needed a new battery after just 2 years. i am the OP and asked the question because most people dump a car after 2-3 years. i tend to keep numbered cars a lot longer. i am 3 years into the car on memorial day, and plan on keeping it a long time. just purchased a 7 year extended warranty for it.If there has not been a battery tender connected expect to need a battery charge on picking up.
