This is my second new Ford, but first Mustang.

Being in Australia, before the S550 the Mustang wasn't exactly a common car to be found here... :)

My 2018 GT PP1 is my first Mustang (bought last August), but long ago I did own a 1985 Ford Thunderbird Turbocoupe, which was basically a Mustang SVO with a different body...

First Mustang.
Discovered how much fun a Mustang could be by renting a convertible while in Florida.
Then another.
Then another.
Then sold my CTS-V Wagon (for a profit) so I could get a Bullitt. (Wife wouldn’t let me keep both it AND the MR2)
The Caddy was fun.
And faster, frankly.
But the Mustang is funner.

I've been a life-long Mopar guy since I learned to drive, but never owned a Mustang until now:

1974 Dodge Dart 440 swap - high school, college
1986 Dodge Shelby Charger 2.2 Turbo - college
1969 Plymouth Valiant 340, 4-speed - college, work (still have this one)
1967 Plymouth Barracuda convertible - basket case
1968 Plymouth Sport Fury convertible 440HP - family size muscle car (still have this one)
1987 Dodge Daytona Pacifica 2.2 Turbo II swap - commuter
2008 Honda Fit Sport - commuter + kids, sold
2018 Mustang EBPP+Magneride - new commuter & autoXer

My Dad had some Mustangs over the years - a 77 Mustang Cobra II that he bought in Germany set up for autobahn cruising. That car was brutal. An 84 GT convertible, 86 GT, and a neat '83 Capri that got a 351C-4V T5 swap. I drove these cars from time to time, but they were always his.

This is my first Mustang and probably my last. Not because I don't like it. I love it. It's just that I'll only get to own so many cars before I expire, so I don't want any repeats.

This is my first. Never saw myself as a Mustang guy (actually from a Chevy family but not religiously so), but once I had adequately ran my first car into the ground, my dad asked me what was next, and for some reason I went with a Mustang? Just seemed like the most practical a way of driving a sportscar in my 20's before I have any major responsibilities outside of work. Now I'm hooked and totally understand the madness. Probably won't get a another one, just will never get rid of this one considering I think the pre-facelift s550 is one of the best looking affordable cars of the 21st century, and the path the world is going down with displacement, forced induction, alternative fuels, and EV's.

This is my second Mustang. The first was a 1985 GT Convertible. The last of the 4 barrel (Holley) Mustangs.

Second Ford, first Mustang. Wanted a Miata, but it didn't fit well.

Still working on getting the 1st.
I have had other Fords family vehicles. 88f-250,97f-150,92f-150,86 grand mark, 99 grand mark. a 04 ranger, and the reborn (usa) ranger.
The turbo 4 in the truck IS the reason I was open to the turbo mustang.
The truck is not small, and not light but goes if you ask it too.
Till the test drive in April, I had never driven one.

Third mustang to be honest...but this is my first mustang bought as a daily driver!

I HAVE a 64.5 that is a family heirloom, and is being passed to each generation as they learn to drive.

I HAD a 1986 four cylinder for a short time back in 1991, but traded it in 3 months for a 1986 Dodge Shelby Charger turbo.

...now my 350R is being eyeballed by daughter, as her inheritance :cwl:

Aside from my very first car, a dodge shadow I had in the late 90s, my 15 GT is the first domestic I've really owned. I've had a ton of cool cars including ae86, fb rx7, rx8, 240sx, aw11 mr2, and a mazdaspeed miata (which i still have).

I was dailying a 2017 Civic Sport with a tune, which was fun for what it was, but that just wasnt quite enough.

Traded in for my GT as a 40th birthday present and could not be happier. The car is kind of amazing.

This is my first Mustang. Have always had lots of good old Australian Falcons (still have 2).

Living in Australia Mustangs aren't as common here, especially newer generation ones given the requirement to convert to RHD and huge expense to do so. The S550 changed all that, factory RHD Mustang made it affordable and attainable to us Down Under.

I love my Black GT, purchased new and arrived after nearly a years wait in 2016. Its a daily driver and clocked over 50000km, this car rocks.

Glad somebody posted here again. To move it up to charts. This is my third Mustang. My first one was an ‘88 followed by a ‘90. After that I think they ruined the car for a while. A long while. Can you say no 5.0? I know you can. :crying: Finally it was back.
