How many of you have NEVER owned a Mustang previously?

I've never owned a mustang or an American car before. I did have a Ford focus a few years ago, but thats a European Ford.

First Mustang.
I wanted a manual transmission, v8 powered, rear drive car. Simple criteria you'd think? Turns out such cars are just about extinct. Camaro and Mustang; is there something else? Between those two I thought the Mustang looked way nicer inside and out.

Dodge challenger. I think it looks better on the outside.

First Mustang. I’ve mostly owned trucks, and still do. Ram 2500. At a point that I could afford a weekend toy, and it had to have manual transmission. Looked at the Camero, but I refuse to buy any vehicle that has the gas cap on the passenger side.

This is my first mustang. Owned 8 cars before this one. Though I still own my Mazda as my main daily car. Mustang doesn't get driven in winter.

I never owned a Mustang before, I always wanted a muscle car. I’m 63 and currently own a 2019 GT pp1 6m/t base. I love this car. I should have got in on fun a long time ago.

Challenger is way too big of a car for me. 10" longer and hundreds of lbs heavier than the Mustang (which is already a large car by my standards!).

First Mustang/Ford for me. Used to drive a stick and missed it so much after driving an automatic for 14 years! So decided to join back the minority 3% driving manuals.

First Mustang for me. I came very close in '79 when the Fox body came out. I was ready to order a blue Ghia hatchback but during the production year they switched from the 2.8 V6 to the in-line six and I decided not to order.

Came close a second time in '05 when the new model came out, but went with an Acura TL instead since the dealers were demanding MSRP.

Yeah I agree. I do love the look though. Here in Australia it's nearly twice the price as well. Doesn't make me stop fantasising though.

Also first coupe and first sports car.
Oh, I almost forgot - my first V8 also.
