I get 150 miles per full tank of a 93 octane. My cousin has a 2018 Pro charged mustang as well and he gets 230 miles/ tank. What is the difference I don’t even drive my car hard? I get between 10-12 MPG he gets 18 MPG. We both have the same tune , pulley and P1x procharger

Manual? Auto?

If manual what RPM do you shift at?

Same question if auto, do you use the paddles? sport mode?

We both have manuals I know that he has like a river matching or some thing I don’t have that. I’m not sure I don’t rev it too high but before the procharger which was a little over a month ago I was getting 16.5 average. I wonder if something was wrong with my tune at this point could that be why cylinder eight grenades on a new motor lol

I didnt get close to 18 mpg even on stock tune. I got 9.8 mpg on e85 tune 12 mpg on 93 octane when NA. When I went SC I got 8.8 mpg on e85 and like 11 on 93 octane. I get 9.7 on e50 tune while SC. Your friend probably drives like a pussy

6R80 car. 14.8-16.9mpg on E70-85.

21-23.5mpg on gasoline.

These are averages taken. 5-10% fun, 90-95% just cruising.

My 2020 Whipple 6 speed with 3.73’s gets about 12 around town and 18-19 on the highway on CA’s terrible 91 octane. At least when I drive like a normal person.

City vs highway? With my Roush sc my city mpg went down but highway went up. I now get 10-12mpg in city driving and 22-28 on the highway. Where you're driving is going to make a big difference.

Whipple tune and I seem to get 10-12 mpg in the city, which is primary where I drive.

If your decel fuel cut off if turned off (lots of decel popping) that will hurt your mpg. Really should be closer to 20 with mixed city and hwy driving. You can tell if it's turned off when you have it in gear accelerate to 3 or 4k and let off but don't go out of gear. Then watch your afr in the guages and if it doesn't jump up to 20 then your decel fuel cutoff is turned off. Simple fix by the tuner.
