I recall people ragging on the 2015 Mustang design saying it, "Looks like a Fusion! It's not a Mustang!!":doh:
Well... does it?

The naysayers were everywhere and I admit the front end took some getting used to but the profile and back end I thought looked fantastic. I see nothing wrong with the 18 front end, I prefer the previous but the benefits of the new one are worth the change.

I love the 2018, but I’m happy enough with my 2015 that I don’t see the need in spending more money. I have plenty of fun in my car, I don’t need to be the fastest thing around.

Just wait until the first 18 crashes into a crowd at cars and coffee. Maybe then he'll change his mind : )
Until recently I had no idea this was a thing, I have yet to go to one of these events but have started watching the youtube videos. Dayum the things people do with people standing close by.

I like the gloss black grill it goes good with the Royal Crimson and my gloss black rear spoiler.
I can understand that..so the pp spoilers come gloss black only to match the grille?

They weren't wrong about the IRS vs Stick axle in a drag race. Stock for stock, the stick is still stronger and better suited for dragging where as the IRS needs a little work.

The S550 is a beautiful, sophisticated car though. Mustang styling has come a long way from what it used to look like in the 80s and 90s.

16 gt manual base to 18 gt auto base . Just use it for road trips, works great. 11,000 miles in last 2 months.
Faster yup. bit better on fuel,yup..Suspension set up bit better than my 16.

Like looking over the slightly lower hood line without the 2 black holes looking at me.
Like the looks
like having digital speedo finally
Love the sound of the base exhaust, 16 was silent, perfect for me,wouldnt want any louder.

But
Not happy buttons on wheel switched. PIA for me.Every other Ford we have is the other way.
And hate that every time i close the trunk the black shiny rear panel scratches from the dust and my fingers!!
Cant pass cars without hitting 120 mph! hmm

As for the Auto..Ya its quicker, still not sure shoulda not got a stick....I do however hate those stupid video game shift paddles! Useless when i have the wheel half a turn around and my arms dont pretzel to reach the right one! I go around a lot of tight corners and in my mountain town and i down and upshift a lot manually. Ford, please put a button back on the stick, you know, where my right hand is most all the time anyway!! Better yet, give me a rachet setup like a mazda or such. I will never buy another auto after this thing without it on the stick. Was the 18 worth the diff it cost me? NO.

How many miles did your 16 end up with if you've already got 11k :eyebulge:

Decklid panel material is the same scratch if you dare to look at it though, I wish I would have known so I could have put PPF on it right away.
