To be honest I'm tempted to find a '18 gt pp auto..Actually spent a few hours today searching carguru for gt's within 150 mi radius but not having payments right now is an alternate satisfaction. As far as the front-end of the '18, like all of it but the glossy grille. I think the recessed and pillared 15-17 is much more appealing...and of course gotta have my lower fogs!
Yeah, it isn't even close. Probably a hundred(or two at the least, depending on tuning) horsepower difference between a FI S550 Gen 1, and an S550 Gen 2.Everyone likes new things! I'm a fan of the new cars and think they look awesome. If I was in the market for a Mustang now I'd definitely be in one with an A10. I was merely laughing at a few guys that think their stock 18 cars are keeping up with any kind of boosted antique 15-17...lol.
I think antique plates would lower my yearly tag registration and get me a cheaper insurance rate so I'm cool with that! Lemme know the next time you smoke a boosted 15-17...
depends on setup and whos driving. ive seen boosted coyotes run high 11s low 12sYeah, it isn't even close. Probably a hundred(or two at the least, depending on tuning) horsepower difference between a FI S550 Gen 1, and an S550 Gen 2.
Sure you have and I have seen boosted street driven 2015-2017 Mustangs run low 10'sdepends on setup and whos driving. ive seen boosted coyotes run high 11s low 12s
well duh, that confirms my point.. it depends on setup.. there are daily driven coyotes in the 9s. as far back as 2011. doesnt mean its better than the new one. but still impressive that there is even that small of a gap. now sure same roush car can be tuned and driver mod and run a 10. Its just not mind blowing to see a roush car run a mid to high 11 or worseSure you have and I have seen boosted street driven 2015-2017 Mustangs run low 10's
What do you mean setup and why would any member take a 700 HP supercharged mustang to the track with street tires and expect great 1/4 miles times.LOLwell duh, that confirms my point.. it depends on setup.. there are daily driven coyotes in the 9s. as far back as 2011. doesnt mean its better than the new one. but still impressive that there is even that small of a gap. now sure same roush car can be tuned and driver mod and run a 10. there are plenty of people who buy a roush car and drive straight to the track. especially if you talk about an 11-14 roush car even on a tire is still high 11s. at least where im located. i watch an auto 17 RS3 run 12s and finish the night with a high 11. not saying i would claim to be faster than a boosted car but i can see where someone might say they can compete if you have an NA coyote on a street tire and can hit 11.8-11.9What do you mean setup and why would any member take a 700 HP supercharged mustang to the track with street tires and expect great 1/4 miles times.LOL
You could literally say that about every car out there. Better is subjective so what's so bad about it that you would never own another one? This is the first and the last Mustang I'll ever own. I don't see my self getting another one.
There are many manufacturer's that make better cars, compared to the Mustang. I want to try as many of them as possible.
Dude, put the ganja down. Not a Mustang because you don't like it?I keep my '17. Makes no financial sense to me.
Also, '18 frontend - if it is a source for so many flames - there IS something wrong with one. Stop convincing yourself there is not. I do not like it at either - pictures or in person. Nice car, fast car, better car, but not a Mustang.
