I’m curious how the crank relearn worked?
Did the relearn got the check engine code after a 50 to 120 pull on the street. Cleared the codes made another test hit 50 to 120 on the version 1 original tune with no problems. Never had an issue on the original whipple tune. I know a lot of people said that the new tune was better but my car idles funny on start up on that tune and seems to have some quirks like a ton of popping in the exhaust on deceleration and just much less power the car is definitely slower and the misfire codes. Just got my injectors and fuel system in so im going to run some e85 with a lund tune now.

Do you have to do the crank relearn on these cars just after the install? Should you start the car first? A bit confused because it says to do the crank relearn when at normal operation temp.160F

It needs to be at operating temp. Install the Whipple kit, then install the supplied tune, start and idle car to op temp, then do the re-learn. I personally did a quick start/30 second run, check the oil and leak check, then start and idle to op temp before I did the re-learn. If you idle up high or such it can set missfire codes before the relearn is done.
