How many 2016 GT 350.

How many 2016 GT 350 will be made? Im Curious if anyone knows, this Question? Yesterday I got a call from my Ford Dealer, that they got another allocation for a GT 350... So tomorrow I'm taking my 2015 GT Mustang 50th anniversary package, in Competition orange, to trade off on a 2016 GT 350..... I was able to pick the color I wanted and the options that I wanted.... Already have a order number... I cannot believe that I'm getting a new GT 350.... I ordered avalanche gray, Technology package, SVT Leather seats .....

There are a couple of recent threads discussing how many. The figure of 5000/yr was used for the past year but recently there is discussion it may be 3600/yr.
Congrats on ordering a GT350! The car is an awesome driving experience and is both very comfortable and an aural thrill.

I was just issued VIN 1FA6P8JZ9G5523263 last week. The last four digits indicates the 3263rd GT350 scheduled to be built. So the 3600 number will be close to the final numbers when the orders close for the 2016 350s in the next few months. And the 2017s orders open up.

My vin was 1663 and was built Jan 6th. With your number I'd bet the 5,000 number is more likely at this point.

Are you sure that sequential VIN refers to GT350'production?

I've heard that the VIN's do NOT go in order.

Looking through my research and a few other members here the 2016 GT350's last 6 digits start with 520001 while regular '16 Mustangs start with 200001.

So every single GT350 is a G552XXXX, so Ford must have blocked off a segment of the sequence just for GT350 use. Although I think the R and regular GT350 pull from that same pool.

I don't think that's the case.
My Vin is 1356, but my Chassis # is G0959... the 959th GT350 built. Or that's how I understand it anyway.

Exactly. The chassis number is the GT350 designation on number.. not necessarily the VIN sequence? But what do I know?

I have a 2016 GT350 track pack. The last numbers of the vin do not go as the production numbers. My vin is G5520390 my production number is G0413

Congrats on your new gt350. Your 2015 GT is a really nice car, this will be a whole new level!!! You're going to love it. Can't wait to see the pics. Avalanche is a great, super unique color.

To my best understanding guys there are the many R's with there own number that are mix in with 350s thats where the VINs and chassis numbers don't match. Ford had a nightmare of a time trying to keep chassis numbers and VINs together for the 2015s.

Well...

Well as yesterday after dropping off my 2015 GT at Astorg Ford, and said good by to it it was very sad to do that, I loved the car, and I'm hoping I will love my new GT350 even more!!!!!! It has been orderd and now the very long wait is on again, so maybe I will have to drink more beer everyday!!! Ha! Ha!

Can any one answer if the Technology package cars comes with the two Gauges in the dash? I have not had any,where I could look at one of the new 350 cars....thanks John :cheers:
