Not sure if key fob questions go here. Has been low battery for a month and just been putting it off until it dies. Just curious.

You never changed it before? I'm surprised, since your car is a 2015. Those fat Ford fobs reportedly eat batteries regularly. I always change them every 2 years, to avoid having issues during a trip or something. But if you already got the low-battery warning, change it now. At least in my case, it doesn't use the typical CR2032, but a much larger CR2450, so make sure you order one if needed, before your fob craps out, and you're forced to use the physical key to open the car, and having to put the fob under the rear cup holder every time.
