In East Tennessee you can swap (3) gallons of used coolant for a jar of shine... lolI reuse the factory coolant unless it's deemed unusable for some reason (IE: head gasket failure, etc).

Awesome! Thanks for posting the pictures!!I installed mishimoto radiator today for my ecoboost. I was able to remove it without removing intercooler lol. I simply used a little multi tool and chopped the legs off the old radiator, mishimoto comes with attachable legs so I attached them once I had everything secured. Found out I have a exhaust leak so I need a new clamp, for my downpipe below car. No big deal.
Took me 2 hours.
Question. My car used to stay 185-225, wit the new radiator, it cools down to 175. Is that going to be a problem? It is when the thermostat opens, and it just drops down to 175. I’ve never had my engine cool that low before other than warming up.
just opinions. Thanks. You can’t overcool an engine yeah? I assume Itl just keep thermostat closed, but if when it opens thermostat, is 175 anything to be worried about.
Awesome! What all are you installing? Looks a little like a liquid to air heat exchanger??I'm just finally getting around to installing some of my Mishimoto goodies, too! Glad your install went well!!! Yes, it can be "too cool" - you'll get a CEL when/if the car experiences that, though.
Those are great temperatures! Did you reuse the OEM pull through fans??Mines working well, takes awhile to warm up but this thing is killer to drop engine temps once rhermostat opens
drove 3-4 hours, no leaks and temps seemed fine.During wot the cht’s could drop to165 then go back to 180sh.
Never did that with old radiator
This is my personal car. It's a GT with a blower, so we're installing all the cooling mods I can get my hands on, lol. Oil cooler, radiator, heat exchanger, all going together and finally in today hopefully! Have 2 customer cars to do first and a Procharged car to deliver this morning. But by any luck I'll have some time this evening to tinker on my girl!Awesome! What all are you installing? Looks a little like a liquid to air heat exchanger??

I have the Performance Pack. Once it Warms up, I never see temps below 185.this thing cools stupidly. it went from like 200 cht at a light to 175 in like seconds. do any of you EcoBoost guys ever have temps drop to 175? just curious. I swore it used to be 185. but I haven't really paid much attention driving it in winter, I could of been dropping to 175 before and dint pay much mind.
but I swore it always hovered 185, now it drops to 175, and goes back up, and drops back down once thermostat opens back up to 175. as long as 175 is fine im good.
Are you saying below 185 - 165-180 is too cold for cht?I have the Performance Pack. Once it Warms up, I never see temps below 185.
Thank you!Nice looking Stang!
