How do you feel about the 2022 having less HP and Torque?

Yes, different dynos on different days, but these are in my M1 Facebook group. The first is a 21, the second is a 22 both M6. One made more HP the other more TQ...I pulled my hydrocarbon filter, other than that I think it's smoke and mirrors.

It's nice to see the "dip" around 5500 is explained, because the car feels sluggish at that RPM to me, when watching my AFR at WOT, the car goes pretty darn rich for NA 11.4-11.5, and this explains it.

Is it wheel HP or engine HP? I cannot find it on any graph 🤔.

I still believe that there's more to it than removing the carbon filter and MAF tube. The only way we know is if someone did back to back dyno pulls. The tune has a larger part to play in it I still believe. It's all anecdotal evidence so far the above mentioned items return your HP.
This for sure plays a part. If you look on Ford Performances website there is a completely different part number for the 22 Stage 2 supercharger kit. The other gen3s share the same part number I believe.

I spoke with one of the guys at Ford Performance and he said that it is due to numerous changes to meet emissions. The 22 fuel mapping is way different from the 21, among other things like the cats, air intake etc. A lot of 21 parts do not fit the 22... ask me how I am finding out 😮💨

What parts do not fit? I'm curious. Per FPC, cats are the same...they sure look the same...

Looks like he was mistaken and the restrictive airflow was coming from somewhere else. Probably that larger carbon filter in the front.

The tune for the 21 and 22 is different. I know he said the fuel mapping was a lot different.

I personally couldn't give any less of a shit about -10hp/torque.

Eruption Green alone is better than any color offered in 2021, and that's not even bringing up Mischievous purple, grabber blue metallic, dark matter gray, etc. That more than makes up for an negligible amount of hp and torque imo.

Same, except I think Grabber Blue is terrible.
