Looks like a great track tire if cost is no option ($2050 for a set at Tire Rack) and you want to nail down tire pressures/performance metrics. However, if the focus is faster lap times, you can get Hoosier stickers for cheaper.

Not saying that I was buying them. Just found it interesting.

I saw these just the other day, pricey and will last even less as long as the stock R cups I’m willing to bet.

Is there not a Ford Performance variant of the PSC2s that is engineered specifically for the GT350/R? Perhaps this new Connect variant is better, or perhaps the FP variant is better suited?

Yes. The rear R 315s (and maybe the new non-R SC2s) are Ford spec only. The from 305s come it at least two different specs.

I run Porsche spec 305s/325s as they’re a slightly longer lasting compound and they have, as best as I recall, 2/32” more tread. I don’t doubt the Ford spec is better on the GT350(R), but I’m far from good enough to tell the difference.

The Cup 2 is still inferior to the RE71R and Advan A052.

for sustained 20-30minutes at a time? My understanding is the RE71R is great when cold but after a couple laps goes way off as it gets too hot. You've figured out a way to keep the tire from overheating? The 71R on 2500-3000lb vehicles works a hell of a lot better.

Not to mention the vast majority of people here aren't running 18" wheels so the Advan is not an option.

The "track connect" product came out months ago - sometime in 2019. They are available in GT350R sizes and specs - TireRack has them in stock. Thing is, I don't see the point in the extra features - they don't tell you enough to be able to use the temperatures to adjust camber and you get pressure from the TPMS already.
