OMG Kent, you got to work! I can't imagine how these seeds of inspiration swell in your creative head. Does it hurt?

HOT WHEELS, LEADING THE WAY!

Curtis: My head often hurts but definitely not from creative pressures. <smile>

As for the inspiration, it was the idea of someone digging in a barrel for Hot Wheels. It just expanded from there. :-)

69Mach1: I think if we looked up "dedicated" and "determined" in good ol' Webster's, we'd see photos of you in both places!

Simply amazing..no, really, ASTONISHING. How long have you been collecting them?

I just sold a collection of early '60's Marvel books that fortunately, my Mom saved, (the only thing I kinda collect is guns...<grin>). The auction brought more than I ever thought they would so hopefully, you'll be in that "Big Bang" position one day too, (or your kids.)

Good luck and keep up the good work.

for us here in western MD finding one of these will be like finding a needle in a haystack, and we still have to find the haystack.
been to wallyworld and targe and the hot wheels stuff is limited.

mostly all the electronic gaming stuff now....or mindcraft...

Thanks kilobravo,
Well I have some from when I was a kid but I really got into it around 20 years ago. A co-worker gave me a look a like to my yellow mach1 and the illness took off from there, lol. Here is one of my first buys when I joined the HW club from a cereal box, the boss hoss silver special, around 1970, age 8. My first mustang purchase...

69: That is just cooler than words my friend. A fifty-plus year old Hot Wheel and a very special one to boot. Any idea what one of those goes for at auction?

"Illness." <smiling> Well said and I expect most of us suffer from one oddball thing or another, Lord knows I do and it's just getting worse. :=)

You're about nine or so years younger but I expect our childhoods were quite similar.

Now go look for that 500 HW! <grinning>
