The big issue with bikes is the launch even with my launch control it bogs and you have to watch the throttle or it’ll just wheelie
Its all in the finesse of riding the clutch out enough to keep it from bogging and doing a wheelie

And that’s why 0-60 isn’t something i would talk about when it comes to motorcycles lol

Oh for sure. Unless the bike is stretched and slammed the 0-60 is the bikes weakest point.

My launch control on my street fighter v4 is put it at 8500rpm which is too high and bogs you can see guys doing it all the time
The guy in the video did it right by slipping it and not using launch control

I was referring to the Op's question about a Mustang. That Porche is serious cash. So, perhaps some exotic megabuck car. Not any American made one, though.
Well.....except for Teslas. And Red-eye Demons, Hell Cats, etc.

And FYI, while a 911 Turbo S (and a few other Porsche 911 models) aren't cheap, they also are not exotic, mega-buck cars.

$208K versus millions of $$ for McLarens, Paganis, Buggatis, etc.

OK you guys. 0-60 can be done for 200K plus. I was referring to the OP's question for the second time. 2.9 0-60 was unheard of 40 years ago. Nothing like it.

Since then every thing is faster. I do disagree on the hellcat times. I've seen many when i was at the DS. Maybe with slicks and good gas and a different supercharger. But, stock, never saw anything close to 2.9 0-60.

And both the other cars are 200K. So, these are extremes.

But, back to the question about a modified Mustang, even with supercharger, etc. It will be nearly impossible to beat a superbike today.

That was the original question. Can't do it without major money spent. And, then, never top end. I wouldn't try to best a fast bike. Then or now. I have raced a few on deserted roads with my supercharged Mustangs, and beat a few. But, not top end superbikes. No way.

I find 0-60 to be a dumb metric now because of how fast cars and bikes have gotten, 60-130 or just the good old 1/4 are a lot more entertaining lol
I think it's the most important metric, because it's one most people can actually (sort of) use on the streets occasionally.

that’s only true if the car doesn’t have so much power it’ll either smoke the tires Half of the time. Or have traction issues, remember this thread is about beating some fast bikes. You will need big boy power just to touch a 1000, i mean 800-1000whp, the 600s can be beat with 500-550whp depending on the year. I raced a lot of shit this year with the monster and it made 100whp

I was just sharing the performance metric I thought was most important, to the average driver.

Setting aside drag racing.

There are a few cars that are faster 0-60. Genuine, production, stock street cars.

Not many, but they do exist. The 911 Turbo S springs immediately to mind, at 2.4 seconds 0-60.
Fastest sports bike 0-60 is 2.35. 2006 gsxr 1000 i believe

Sure.

But a 911 Turbo S will do it all day, repeatedly, consistently, and safely (relatively speaking). Freakishly fast and consistent. The car just does it for you.

My bad, it's 2.6 0-60, not 2.4.

Huh? I see a lot more roll races on the street than 0-60 races. Any car capable of being even close in a 0-60 isnt going to have traction on the street so yeah its a silly metric lol

How well does it do that on the street? Most street races are rolls

Anyways as mentioned..useless metric aside..0-60isnt even where the bikes shine and cars still dont really keep up

Yeah but at $200K base price with no options I would also have to live in it!
