I installed the Ford Performance struts and the washer hose was pinched. I haven't been able to find a solution to splice the hose. The only option Ford gave me was to buy the complete hose from fluid reservoir all the way under the hood to the washer pieces. Does anyone know of a splice kit or solution. Cost of the full part from Ford is $22.00 and install is a couple of hrs labor about $250.00.

While we are talking hood strut installs, I need details (hopefully easy) on how to retrieve my 1/4" ratchet and socket that slipped and fell inside the fender well? Newbie mistake I know 🤷
I see this is an old thread ,,,, but for the next guy:
open door
theres a black 'pad' filling the gap between the fender and body.
use a screwdriver to get a corner and pull out enough to get access to tools.
magnetic retrival stick helps.
push pad back down into hole.... its just friction fit,

dont ask me how i know :lipssealed:
