If only! Even the insurance companies typically stiff you with the cheapest vehicle they can get away away, under the assumption of 'what are you going to do about it'. This is one of the reasons people now resort to the "Claims Management Company" and everyone's premiums go up.
Slightly off topic, but just thought I'd mention this update on using claims management companies.

Following a recent court case, where a CMC tried to claim about 75,000 in hire car charges and was taken to court, it seems that the CMCs won't hire vehicles without wanting bank statements (3 months all your accounts), to prove you couldn't afford to hire your own car. I assume most people wouldn't give this info out to some shyster CMC company, we're now just better off going through your own insurance and hope they don't stick you in a kia.

If that becomes a long term loan I would complain like hell to Ford.
The dealer cannot be expected to keep large cars as loan cars, they have to pay for them but I do feel Ford should step in an upgrade you to something else.

However, if its just a few days, then anything is better than nothing I guess.
