Just traded my '15 GTPP with over 80,000 miles no issues w/ AC or Trans. Now driving my wife's '16GTPP no issues either!! She has the '18 GTPP1 nothing, but only 600 miles.

Another winnner and stuffed animal for you! 80,000 miles and the same evaporator! Can anyone come close to or exceed that?

And BTW, am I the only one feeling less fear about the evaporator going knowing others are getting real longevity out of theirs?

I am over 106k miles now. The a/c is ice cold. FWIW, the a/c has always been a bit rough at idle/noload in this car.

106,000 and a V6 (not sure if the rental car evaporator is different from the V8 or Ecoboost). Anyway you are the current king and get the Chewbacca action figure sealed in the box!

Im at 20k miles no ac problems so far, ive done research like you to seek comfort. But i think the base cars evap and premium evaps may be different. Majority of evap fails on the premiums with the dual zone hvac. If thats any peace of mind

2016 Ecoboost, got about 16,000 on it and then the evaporator went out, got it replaced in one day under warranty, has been fine ever since, car now at 22,000 miles.

I'm at 81k miles on my Ecoboost in the California High Desert weather (so it's being used 9months out of the year) and I've never had a problem. Although if it's sitting (I keep a sunshade on it)when i'm at work, when I get in and it's on, it's got a pretty interesting smell for about 5 secs...

let me ask you, Im curious to know after 80k miles, what issues you had if any? How would you say is the overall condition after 80k miles?

My 15 had 30k and I had no issues at all with the a/c.

30,000 miles on my 16 GT350, and AC is still working (knock on wood).
