I feel conflicted by your dilemma. On one hand I feel like slushbox drivers should be offered the same goodies. On the other, I think that Ford still has enthusiasts running the show and the Mach 1 clearly is an ode to manual cars.
And it's that same we don't give a sh&% attitude toward the automatic crowd (who makes up the vast majority of Mustang purchasers). I probably just need to accept the notion of paying a little more and move on to a C8.

Seeing Ford finally depart from mt82 is nice. Hope the 3160 becomes the new standard

The Handling Pack looks to be minor areo bits and wider Cup 2s. I believe you could still get the A10 (great trans) with all the needed coolers; so basically get the base A10 and buy some better wheels/tires and you're golden.

The Mach 1 is essentially a 350 but with a more reliable engine....yep, great car!

Except, I don't think the 350 has had the infamous BBQ tick / piston slap problem (which was present on my 2019 almost from the beginning of ownership and pre-first-oil-change to boot). I'm willing to bet that will come at no extra charge on the Mach 1.

I'm confused, I thought Ford announced an upgraded converter for the A10. Is there something else you were expecting? The 10R80 was a MAJOR upgrade in 2018 and now for 2021 they are upgrading it again. Certainly you were not expecting the GT500 DCT, that would make the car cost even more than it already does ($50K is astronomical for a mustang that was originally billed as affordable performance).

Has that tick proven to be anything more than just a noise? (not being a smart-ass, I honestly don't know)

I know several people who've had to replace their Voodoo motor cause it likes to vibrate itself to death

I don't really know. We'll probably know better when people start putting 50,000 or more miles on the 2018s, 2019's, etc.

The A10 as an option is a nice move in the right direction. But why can't the Mach 1 be spec'd the same whether its the A10 or the stick? That's nonsense to only provide the complete goodie package to manual customers.

I was also hoping the Mach 1 would've come with a little more power to take it a level beyond the Bullitt.

I agree on the auto. I've always been a die-hard manual fanboy but auto and DCT technology has come a long way. They simply are so much faster on track. Really, the only reason left to get a manual is because you like it.

EDIT: I suppose manuals are still simpler and cheaper to work on. There is that...

Ah, ok, I misunderstood. I do understand why you're frustrated about the lack of performance packages with the auto. I cannot understand why they will not put the 2 together either.

LOVE the front end, LOVE the rear spoiler. Other than that, rebadged BULLITT with better handling.
