17 GT. I have the MBRP street. It’s not holding up well. Car is boosted but still has stock manifolds and cats.

The volume with the MBRP street is about where I would like it to stay. I definitely don’t want to go quieter.

Any recommendations? Thanks.

If you are ever considering LTH then Sport for sure. The Xtremes get too trumpety with long tubes. However, if you will always remain stock with cats and all, Xtremes do sound great.

Definitely Sport. I've had both for plenty of time. The Xtreme is really fun but it can be very, very loud. Both exhausts are deceptively quiet inside the car when you're not going WOT, but don't be fooled, there's a lot more volume outside. They direct the sound rearward better than any other I've heard and have zero drone at any speed.

Hey,

Quick question for you, how loud is too loud? If volume does not matter to you then your options are endless. Do you prefer a specific tone? Deeper or raspy? Feel free to shoot me a message so we can go over your options and choose whats best for you

With stock headers and boosted, the Sport should be plenty fine. I'm a huge fan of the Krona with catless long tubes. The Corsa will get raspy if you ever go longtubes without cats.

exteme and sport both sound nice, if you never plan on headers, i would probably go extreme. if headers 100% go sport.

the combination sounds really good

I just pulled my MBRP street series off my 17 GT and wanted a little bit louder exhaust and went with the Corsa Xtremes. Never plan on doing headers. Couldn't be happier. Very loud on cold start up...but doesn't last long. More burbles and cracks than the MBRP street (if you have a CAI) and a little bit louder.

Well I wish I wold have gone Xtreme. The sport sounds good but it’s way too quiet. Now I have to figure out what the best header setup is while still passing GA emissions.

There's no shortage of people who want to go quieter and trade their Xtreme axleback for the one from the Sport. I'd go that route vs headers, myself.

Q: did you hear it being driven from the outside yet? It takes some adjustment from a lot of other exhausts because it directs the sound rearward so well and has zero cabin resonance. It's much louder outside than it seems inside.

Move to a county with no emissions. :)

I haven’t had anyone drive it but Ive had someone rev it. It sounds great from behind. Maybe I will adjust but the fun factor of the car has decreased since I can’t hear as much in the cabin at normal acceleration pace.

I like that it’s quiet on the hwy but I still want to hear a bit more when moderately accelerating.

I'd just drive it for a while. You'll probably get accustomed to it. I agree, sometimes it's just a little short on moderate accel volume but after having way too many exhaust combinations (louder and quieter) on this car, I have come back to the Sport as the best all-around, IMO.
