Hey! Looking to see if anyone could help me figure out exactly what part might be broken here. I don't have a wiring diagram to see exactly what module this fuse is controlling and there is more than 1 fuse tied to the "body control module".

Battery completely drains over night unless I have it plugged into a tender charger. Other than that, car seems to run fine. I pulled all the fuses to test and fuse 7 seems to be where the draw is coming from. Looking for any insight from this group before I take it to the dealership and pay $$$$ for them to tell me what might be wrong with it.

Battery is about 1.5yrs old. Car does not get driven a whole lot. Probably put 4K miles on it in that amount of time.

Might be able to help if we had a definitive list of what mods have been done to it. You know, like most people have in their sig line?

Most likely the battery is bad, largely due to it not being driven.

I'll swap the battery today to see if that helps! Only mod on the car is a Roush exhaust system. New to the forum so I didn't realize most people did that.

Swap? You mean swap your used battery for another used battery? Or go get a brand-new one, and then immediately drive the car for 2+ hours to fully charge it?

Look....the battery tender needs to be used all the time. These cars never actually turn off, so there's always parasitic draw on the battery. Not driving the car is the worst thing you can do for the battery.

For sure meant a new battery :) Perhaps I'll do it this weekend so I can take it on a long drive afterwards.

I installed a tender a couple days ago so I can simply plug the car into an outlet each night now.

Appreciate the insight.

Be aware; the voltmeter doesn't show the volts in the battery, it shows the volts the alternator is putting out because that's what the battery needs. So if you see what you think is the proper voltage (or above), that means your battery is asking the alternator for more juice. That DOESN'T mean the battery is fully charged.

Don't know if this is helpful but it's what you asked for.

I was chasing the same thing and I recently read a post here on M6G in which a member said that it is best to lock the doors every time because if they remain unlocked, the car is constantly searching for the fob. Of course if you’re already locking your car, then there is something else causing the issue.
