Hey guys.

Needing a little help here with my Thinkware F750 hardwiring kit. Just curious to know if anyone else has hardwired their dash cam and may be able to provide some assistance here.

Is there any particular place that I should use the grounding wire (assuming the black wire), and what about the yellow and red ones?

Sorry if this may be common sense for most of you -- I usually need a little hand holding here. Got some great help from a friend just a few moments ago, but wanted to just post here as well just for any additional help.

Here's what I got:

Seems that I've figured out which fuses to tap into. Just a matter of finding a spot for grounding now that seems to be a pain in the ass.

if you fuse tapped in the passenger footwell there are some nearby bolts on the firewall above the carpetting that you can use as a ground

Would you happen to have a setup that you've done this on that I can see? I seen about 3 of them (1 on the left side of the fuse box and 2 on the right), but seem very difficult to get to.

look at the firewall not behind the fusebox, those are too hard to get to

Got it installed!! Everything's good to go. However, I'm noticing a light "tick" sound down by the fuse box when hitting start/stop button for ignition. Is that normal when tapping into an existing fuse? Or could it be that the wire isn't wrapped around the fuse properly or something?

I get the same thing before and after my f750 installation, should be fine

I used 2 for yellow & 23 for red. Don't think 2 is correct though as I'm not getting power to the cam when the car is off.

The manual says to install the yellow to emergency lamps, cab lights or tail lights. The manual doesn't say which # is for those lol.

OK so if we go by the dome lights I think it's #1 according to the Diode Dynamics Thread.
