So I was doing a data log the other night and my car at wide open throttle did not seem like it wanted to go over 7200 RPM at that time, so I decided to go ahead and pull over at the nearest 7-Eleven where I set up my laptop for the data log and my car cut off . I had the car towed back to my house because there was a lot of white smoke and oil coming from under my hood.
Me and my buddy were checking it out yesterday and found that it's coming from my driver side tube that goes into my jlt cold air intake. Which and returns goes into the Paxton blower and in return goes down to the blow off valve that was squirting out oil and smoke . we thought about maybe putting a catch can on the driver side, just like the passenger side has . jlt performance is right down the street from me and I went and talked to them about it and they said that it's weird that out of this whole last year that I have not had an issue until now. They seem to think it might be a ring piston on one of my cylinders . they want me to do a compression test, which I'm going to perform this weekend.
Has anybody had this issue before? Any help would be greatly appreciated because I only have like six thousand miles on this car and I'm hoping it's not my motor. Smh. if I did not answer anything that you might have questions about, just ask me and I can answer it to further evaluate what's going on .Thanks guys

No smoke out of exhaust . Just out of that driver's side tube, along with the oil .

While you have the spark plugs out to compression test, run a boroscope in and take a peek. Sounds an awful lot like ringland delete, or head gasket.

Agreed, Definitely Sounds like Broken ring-lands or a head Gasket.

Buddy's Whipple car just went through this. Smoke out of the oil fill cap and milky oil in the blower inlet.

5 broken pistons were the result.

Can this type of thing be rebuilt or will have to purchase a new motor?

While performing the compression test, be sure to do a leak down as well. Compression make look OK, but a leak down will tell the tale!

the guy that sells me my car's told me to bring it in and trade it in and act like nothing's wrong and he won't tell anybody and get a new car .Lol.
I'm not sure how I can stop the smoke for just a couple minutes while they take it on a one minute or two minute test drive LOL.

Do you think if I make the car N/A, it might slow the smoke down. Lol .

If the engine is hurt, there is no hiding it.

I would say plan for a new motor, or rebuild your current one. You have options.

Yeah I guess I'm going to have to pull the motor and rebuild it and put it back in.

I had a blown head gasket on my stock motor right after I bought the car (used), but also had white smoke out the exhaust and exhaust had a sweet smell to it. Engine did not need to come out to be repaired, but there is quite a bit of disassembly to get to the repair. As already noted, the leak down test confirmed the assumed head gasket failure.

Yeah I have no smoke coming out of my exhaust at all. Just out of that driver side tube that comes from my motor that you normally put the catch can on .
