I have a Hellion Sleeper on my ‘21 Mach 1 and am in the process of installing the stock cats for emissions. I made 945whp through the stock exhaust with 91+110 mix so your power goal is realistic. That being said E85 is certainly the way to go if you have the budget for a fuel system. Here is where I am at with the cat install(yes they are the stock ones.

In case you were curious this was my setup before. Added in cutouts into the stock mid pipes

Did you ever get your CATs installed? Where did you put them?

I may have a buyer for my Whipple and I think the new Hellion emissions legal sleeper kit is the route I would like to go. I can find absolutely no feedback on the kit and the info on their website is very limited. They show the kit rated for up to 1200hp. Is there really any possibility that the stock cats will handle 1000+hp? I understand that turbos tend to be easier on cats, but that seems pretty aggressive.

who says that this is legal? It my slid by in some states but without a E.O number it’s still not legal

I don't live in California and my state has not adopted California standards. As an owner of an emissions station, there is nothing I could fail this kit for as long as it passes OBD readiness.

Just got of the phone with Hellion for an unrelated matter, but the topic of this kit came up. I confirmed that the kit is "49 state legal"(which probably isn't truly 49 states), but the CARB EO certificate is in process .

@TruckandRoll - How did the cats work out?

Passed my local emissions testing with flying colors. I reset the codes and all of my readiness monitors passed within a couple drive cycles and CEL stayed off. Only downside was the cats hang pretty low. Ideally you'd use a lower profile aftermarket cat.

I’m trying to get a spare set of downpipes for this same reason, but Hellion only produces enough for their kits and I’d need to wait about 6 months for the next production run.

Do you have any pics of them on the car?

Sorry if I missed it on your Youtube channel, but I see that you went from cutouts to cats. Was there a noticeable loss in performance or any other issues. Any before and after dyno or track numbers for comparison?
So my car specifically is limited by my fuel system. I was able to make same power between full exhaust and cutouts but the cutouts required way less duty cycle and was certainly more efficient.

I never dyno’d with cats and to be honest I mostly drive it around wit the cutout setup. If you didnt change any boost controller settings youd almost certainly make less power/boost with cats
