@Enzo - BTW - I am doing the same thing this weekend. Does the rubber shifter boot fit over all this Dynamat ? Did you also put the white factory foam/polyfill noise insulator over the dynamat? Any pictures of that would help. I tried taking the shifter panel out near the arm rest storage box - it didn't move even after applying pressure on the locking tabs and I backed out to see more CJP videos on youtube before trying it again.

The boot will no longer be necessary after the insulation. I did also put the white factory foam.

You want to make sure any screws are removed before trying to pull it off.
