do those paint protection film,s keep them from hazing? have 8 years on my other car, no haziness but I had it clear filmed day 1. and I did same for mustang

the yellow/white hazing is actually the UV coating and a small amount of the plastic being worn away by harsh sunlight and road debris such as sand and rocks. (here in South Florida, the sun just eats away everything)

So yes, the headlight protection film works wonders to keep new headlights looking new as the keep the sand/rocks from chipping away at them and some films even have UV protection built into them as well

back in 05, I bought a new Acura TL for the wife. One of the first things I did was to put Weathertech headlight film on, and we sold the car last year, and the headlights still looked like brand new. So I did it to my Mustang and my headlights still also look like new. No hazing, etc.
