Cross drilled rotors on a race track to test racing pads...... Seriously????
You should instead educate your potential customers by telling them that cross drilled rotors do not belong on a race track...

The reverse cooled rotors need all the cooling help they can get.

Would you need to sand the rotors going from another brand of ceramic pad to Hawk's PC?

Probably best that you do.

Might as well only take it all apart just once, instead of partway apart to swap the pads and have to take it all apart anyway.

For the purpose of this test, these rotors performed perfectly. For long-term track use, Hawk Performance will be releasing its line of Talon Plus rotors which will be slotted only. Hope this helps!

Yes, as Norm stated, it's best that you sand down the rotors when switching between pads. You can find their PDF on how to do so below.

I could be wrong but the calipers seems to be the Brembo 6 pistons
Yes, this EcoBoost has been outfitted with GT Performance Package brakes.

Except accomplishing that is kind of problematic . . .

Cross-drilling does F-all for cooling. It's used for 2 reasons:

1. Aesthetics
2. Companies who are trying to make more money selling pads/discs, because they know the cross-drilling shortens the life of both.

I don't know if it helps cooling or not, but it does seem to help in the rain.

I've got cross drilled rotors on the rear of mine and have not turned them blue yet. I cooked the stock ones the first track day I did.

Saving up for the steeda 2 piece to match the front.

Preaching to the choir . . .

I was pondering just the idea of running ducts to those reverse-cooled rotors - my mind refuses to load a mental picture of what that might look like.

The issue here is not that your cross drilled rotors did not self destruct but rather the implied endorsement of cross drilled rotors for racing or open tracking

You'd have to run donkey-dick outside of the fenders and into the wheel center. It's just wrong in so many ways...

BTW, PFC (Brembo works with PFC a lot) makes the best steel brake disks, period. Alcon & AP are reasonable. There aren't many others that are even really in the conversation. Hawk can make a good pad, though.
