For a number of reasons, I am considering installing a mobile hotspot inside my 2019 GT. I am specifically thinking of the Netgear Nighthawk LTE because I get great reception on it and want to use it in the car.

What do you think would be the best placement for it and still be able to get a good mobile signal? I was thinking about putting it somewhere in the rear window area but would also need to create a new enclosure for it to keep it discrete. Thoughts?

I would think since you can use a hotspot in house and I know a few police officers around town that have them in their patrol vehicles. They just toss them in the console and everything works fine

As long as it’s not closely covered by any metal surface (like mounting it on the headliner) you should be good to go.

That being said there’s so much space under the console. And it’s pretty easy to pull out.
