What is a hard run, it's 150mph for ~200 miles. German Autobahn. I've done this several times and each time the clutch pedal is hard. Clutch pedal feel is fine now. Stock clutch. I flush fluid (Castrol SRF) every 2-3 years.
My question is this normal?

Sounds like symptoms of a bad pressure plate. Or at least, starting to go on its way out. Or even neither of the above.

My main guess is that the clutch assembly isn't meant to hold such a high speed load for that long. The pressure plate probably heated up enough to feel off. Once it's given the chance to cool down, it feels normal.
Perhaps an aftermarket plate would fix the issue 😅

Along those lines, it will probably fail after so many heat cycles.

I’ve heard from a couple people that clutch hydraulics don’t like SRF. My slave did fail when on an SRF diet, but ymmv.

for your issue, probably just hot or maybe slave culinder on the slow walk to the exit.

Sounds like slave cylinder to me as well. My Clutch pedal was getting very hard and we concluded it's a slave cylinder. Replaced it and got a new clutch everything back to normal. You can also use the fact that trans is out to add a short trow shifter and some other goodies while in it.

What fluid are you using?

Clutch pedal gets hard during runs only.
I already have a short-throw shifter. One of the first upgrades.

How hard is hard? Maybe your overthinking it? Maybe your clutch is slipping slightly at top speed? How many miles on the car? Take the temp of the trans after a good run then compare it to normal street driving

Hard enough for me to think I might not get it pressed down. ~35,000 miles

Mine was like that but then it started doing it in day to day traffic and I decided enough is enough new clutch+ new slave and my car was having like 20 000 miles on the clock but I do track it a lot.
