Stay away from the DSS half shafts, they represent a lower quality compared to g-force axles..

Yeah man... I've been reading the threads. So many people have had issues with them. I haven't seen or heard anyone breaking any g force axle

I broke passenger side “2000hp” rated dss. Car is only making 800hp my-82. What axle should I get next? Hoping to be on the 1000 to 1100 soon

I got the renegades by G force. So far so good..but they're expensive. I haven't heard of anyone breaking them

I got the renegades by G force. So far so good..but they're expensive. I haven't heard of anyone breaking them
The dds are $1800 not sure how much the g force are but i just don’t want to break. Are the renegades the best ones or for big power?

I made 3 passes, dumping the clutch

I made 3 passes that night, I dumped the clutch on all of them.
15psi rear bias ply 28”
First one at 3000 RPM
Second at 3500 RPM
Third at 3800 RPM
When broke at 4500 RPM link for the last one

Wow! I thought you were going to say you were dumping at 6K+ rpm. That is really shocking that an axle reportedly rated at 2000 hp would snap at a midrange rpm launch.

I think the outlaws are a little stronger but when I talked to the rep at g force he said the renegades will do just fine for big power and drag racing. I'm still on a street tire but I've broken 3 stock halfshafts on the street and track. I've heard nothing but bad things from DSS.

It doesn't look like the car wheel hopped at all. Didn't dead hook and you still broke a halfshaft?? That's crazy

I know I was been nice to it and still broke and those axles don’t have many passes neater

Are you going to fool with DSS on warranty work or upgrade to G-Force shafts?
