If you just focus on the airbox lid/sealing, you're still getting hot radiator backwash blown right into the airpath.
I already dealt with that part of it ;)

That's where 90% of your improvement is coming from. Not saying other mods won't help a little bit, but blocking off that hot radiator air is the key.

Has anyone tried to adapt the Velossa Bigmouth for the Grill of a 50th Anniversary..?
I am happy to cut about either to make a fit, as well as cutting the Honeycomb.

The Anniversary does not have the V Bar like the std GT.

I should end this thread by stating that I ditched this entire setup for a PMAS. Was a good learning experience though.
PMAS has the highest IATs though, how are you combating it? i saw one guy put a bunch of foam insulation around it and that seemed to work well

My Roush, when moving, stays about 2 degrees above outside temp. Can't complain.

My Roush, when moving, stays about 2 degrees above outside temp. Can't complain.
Any CAI can do that. What I wanted was VERY SLOW IAT rise, and VERY FAST IAT cooling, which would be mission accomplished.

Well, some are better than others. When I bought the car, it had Airaid on it. IMO, those are a POS vs the Roush, and oiled filters are trash.

Some of you may know of this and some might be new to this, we've been distributing these flow optimized ram ducts for years and they are massively helpful with high horsepower cars, blown or NA, stock or Aftermarket intakes. They reduce pressure drop to the inlet and isolate the inlet flow path from radiator backwash.
