I got my e85 gas can out the other day and noticed it was gunked up. It was empty or as close as I could get it when I last put it away and I found it with this gunk. My 93 can didnt have this.

Guess ill have to wash them out with gas before storing? I have a metal c85 can that has some small amount of e85 in it and it seems perfectly fine after more than a year perfectly clear no noticible gunk. Could the e85 be affected by the plastic can or is this pretty normal for a totally emptied e85 can?

E85 gets like that when it sets around. That's why it's important not to let your car sit with e85 in it. Your entire fuel system could get gunky like that.
