I haven't played video games in years and years, and will admit I'm not so good on computers, but I would've killed to have the graphics in that video in my Atari 2600 games years back. H*ll, I feel a sense of accomplishment when I do something new on the TV remote.

I wasn't trying to be a snob, I just never had much interest in video games. I would rather go out and do the real thing, not play a fake one on a tv screen.

I agree with you completely my point was video games are the fastest growing entertainment market by far and can be fun so don't be too quick to dismiss them

Back in the day I had an atari 2600 (actually the sears knockoff, made by atari and looked and worked the same as the original but was cheaper) and got bored with it about a year later and never really had any interest in the newer stuff.

Get a simulator and have fun.... if you are not racing in a sim, then you are not testing your skills against others. Everyone who is anyone, uses a simulator to get better...

I never saw the attraction of a shooter type game, they just seem stupid to me. I never played gta either. I played the basic sports stuff on Atari back in the day, and Mario on the Nintendo Wii I bought the kids one year for Christmas, and that is pretty much the extent of gaming experience.
