GT500 vent on GT hood - what are my options?

you would have driven right by the 'shop' in Manassas. I'll go take some pics later, maybe as late as Sat. It came from Irwin PA from a fellow M6G who switched to carbon fiber. I think I paid $400.

I was going to use it to cut up for track vents and slap it on my Velocity Blue because who cares about color... But I now have my somewhat crumpled hood from the truck incident as my track hood.

And I'm toying with buying a 3 or so GT500 style hoods from overseas.

I ended up going with the Gen2 shape. Going back to our email thread this is the difference between the two for the 15-17 S550. Again, if you want more, you can do a custom order with Al and he will send mock ups to make sure it is what you want. I can take a picture of the actual vent when I get home.

I park in an underground garage so quality isn’t the best. You can still see the corners. I’m contemplated creating a blocker for the front half of the TS vents.

Again, you can contact Al and have him do a custom shape.

The plan is to powder coat the side vents and center vents the same color as the car(magnetic).

It’s an illusion lol. But no it’s correct. Al marks the top side (blue tape). Looking at it, it does look upside down. The first two vanes are above the hood

Trackspec vents look great on Orange Fury, and if you really wanted you could have them painted before install if you prefer the color matched look.

I think the GT350 setup looks better than a standard hood.

Cevini's GT500 hood comes with rain tray.
