Went through all 28 pages lol. anyone else got complaints with the mp concepts version ?
On a lot of MP Concepts / i5 one I’ve seen, the splitter seems to warp in the middle.

It’s a 15-17 Bumper but i assume the bottom splitter is the same. I’ve seen this similar warp/bending on a lot o cars on instagram too, both 15-17 and 18+

how have you had the bumper? I know i5 has replacement parts. I just got the mp concepts one hopefully installing soon.

That isn’t my car, just one i saw with the warped diffuser.

I had the ikon bumper (same as 777) for 6 months before I got rid of it.

Is it better to just stick with the stock front end and forget the gt500 style then lol

Up to you, it's a nice bumper if you can make it work. I had a PP car so my belly pan didn't line up. I ziptied it in place, but all the wind from driving eventually just broke through my belly pan and it started flapping on the freeway. I think this is also the case for the gt350 style bumper as they are designed with the base model belly pan in mind.

If i had to do it again, i'd purchase a base model belly pan to make it fit properly, and probably block off the side grilles so it doesn't show the windshield washer fluid. Not to mention all the wind that goes through there probably isn't good for the aero, it's not like there are any heat exchangers that make use of those grilles either. It would probably still be on my car if I did those things, honestly.

FWIW, i didn't have any issues with the splitter warping on the IKON version of the bumper.

Mine took a little work but ultimately fit fine with the performance pack pan. Decided to give it a more oem look by using nice two piece clips vs the nuts and bolts they provide for the installation

Did you get rid of the car or just the bumper? Did you reinstall the original bumper? I was looking at the 777 bumper.

Wow, that's terrible.
Why is this? Cheap material or cheap labor? Maybe both? lol

No, i did not take pictures. It lines up easily, there were two points on left and right side that we modified slightly to get a flush fit.

So I ordered my 777 bumper today, and I was curious what the air dam insert piece is called that the 777/Ikon bumper is missing that covers the washer fluid reservoir? I see it listed on the MP Concepts bumper parts but not the 777 bumper. Also, can I buy this somewhere or do I need to make one myself?
