Hi Guys

I would love to hear your real word numbers on MPG and if you have had a GT350 and or GT and
how they line up.

I'm looking at the gt500 and it will be a daily driver for me :-)

Thanks

I like to disassemble things.
I got between 10 and 12 mpg on my 1,000 mile trip home. I had a '16 GT350 too and fuel economy was much better. Not a metric I care about and would take the GT500 over it on any given day.

After converting 15.4L / 100km, my 2020 GT500 is getting 15.27 mpg, but this is only based on just over 1000 miles with 95% being on the highway.

if I was only getting 5 mpg, it would still be better than a boat that deprecates much quicker

I typically see 11.3 - 11.8 or so but haven't been close to WOT yet. No doubt that will make a BIG difference, especially since Steve said she eats a gallon on one sprint, or at least his girl does. :-)

It's funny that the MPG is so much better in the GT350 vs the GT500.

I am using my 500 as a daily driver and with 875 miles so far, 13 MPG and that is about 30% in Sport Mode. BTW Sport Mode is so much more fun than Normal Mode...duh. I just love coming in hot to a stop or a corner and hearing it downshift  Its gooder than chicken!:turkey:. In comparison my F250 V10 gets 11MPG.

Thank for the info. Some people say it does not matter. But live in the land of $4.00 per gallon gas most of the time and daily drive my car

if I was in a free state with gas thatā€™s under $3 a gallon all the time. I wouldnā€™t even look at MPGs

but with gas when itā€™s high here and itā€™s $70 a tank at times to fill a mustang.

Hey Socal2fast, as a fellow inmate in Gavins California, I feel your pain. Here in the High Desert :tumbleweed: of Ridgecrest (not Palmtucky or Victimville) gas is currently $2.25 and am truly happy bout that. We should vow to enjoy our Dino juice guzzlers and pledge to romp on all Tayota Piouses as we go by smiling ear to ear. :flag:

I'm shooting for 4 mpg when I get mine.
I am sure you will be successful Tom.

I havenā€™t looked at mine, and technically itā€™s still in the breaking in period but one thing is for sure, it passes everything BUT the gas station.

No complaints here.

Let's see.... in the 350R, I go through about 8 gallons in 30 minutes full out. I hear the 500 is worse.

My first tank I got 8mpg a little better now just under 11mpg. This car chugs gas and frankly my dear I donā€™t give a damn.

I didnā€™t buy this car for gas mileage and I purchased it for fun and boy is it fun. If you are worried about gas mileage you shouldnā€™t buy a GT500.

Donā€™t get me wrong you will love it and probably forget about gas mileage until you try to get good gas mileage and canā€™t, then you will hate the car.

As itā€™s been said before if you have to ask you canā€™t afford it. This may sound a little harsh however if you worry about operating costs you will regret the purchase.
