And liberally place Bounce dryer sheets everywhere, interior and underhood. Keeps the mice away and makes the car smell great.That is a nice a cover but I'll never use one outside again. Mice love the protection they provide. I'd definitely set a couple of traps underneath if you aren't uncovering it at least once a day.
OP, I have a spot in my shop available for the winter. Climate controlled and mouse-free. Might be a little too far away for convenient storage though.
