GT500 Aftermarket Exhaust?

Oh snap, I didn’t know they offered one. The last time I checked only X’s were available. I just pulled the trigger. I’ve been longing for that H-pipe sound. Thanks for the heads up. I’ll post some video once I get it installed.

My buddy just swapped his corsa double x for a double H on his 19 GT. I'm half tempted to take his double X to my exhaust guy to fab some reducers, ditch the resonators, and have it fitted up to the 500. Curious to see how it would sound.

I'll post up a video here shortly of a double H on a 500. Mine is straight piped too. It's pretty damn loud. But it does mellow out.

I am torn. On my gt 350 I did eliminator pipes / straight resonator delete and it was glorious . I have had an Xpipe before on a C7 vette that sounded great but , the H-pipe sound for the GT 500 has definitely caught my attention .

Here's mine.

Don't pay attention to the adapters on the end. They had 3" ones that came with it.

Think he means the sound buuut... some before and after of the actual parts. The old one is filled with tiny resonance or sound diffusing indentations. You can see the difference in flow rate just by looking down the new tube, and I know someone here who has done an extensive write up of the parts and installation, not like he's an encyclopedia of knowledge or does this all the time or anything... @Epiphany

Also, soon someone I know is installing a Steeda H-Pipe in their 2020 PP1, I can try to post a comparison video soon sound wise with my car's x-pipe. Not the best comparison obviously, but I have not seen many GT500 H-pipe videos.

Unfortunately all I have of my car is a cold start and a couple revs after switching it track mode (had too, just the once) stock, and then the video of them starting and revving it after the x-pipe install to check the seals and hear the difference, and again unfortunately that is just in normal mode too, but still sounds crazier than stock. Did it in track mode when the car was off the lift, buuut I was talking to the guy so I didn't record that either. I know, I know. I had a long night before and had to be there right when they opened.

However I know there are some good ones of stock vs. X-pipe here on the forum. My best bet for you would be to watch GT, Mach 1, and GT350 videos of H-pipes vs. X-pipes to hear the difference on all types of these cars, so you know what you want for yourself. I had listened to other x-piped cars before so I knew I wanted that right from the get go.
