i believe the Magnetic/ white striped car inserted throughout this video is the same base R used in the Pobst video.

Being past a half century, I fumble through these forum post too…

I think that the Magnetic White stripe car is an Electronic Package car as well and not a Base R model?

Looking back at the Motorweek video, you are right.
The Magnetic car, GR016, used for photos has a screen shown at 4:20.

The Yellow car used on track and for the acceleration runs looks like the base R model at 2:58 in the video.

When looking at the MotorWeek video it seems clear to me that both the Triple Yellow and and the Magnetic Gray vehicles came equipped with the Electronic Package and neither are Base R models.

Truth be told, I’ve never seen a base R in person.
The way they stitch the video together, it’s difficult to tell which interior belongs to each R model.

I am guessing this video capture is a base R.

You hit the nail on the head with respect to which interior shot belongs to which vehicle?

The two interior pictures that you posted are Base R models as indicated by a radio block off plate along with many other delete items such as AC, navigation, back up camera, USB ports, sound deadener, floor mats, speakers, Sync, oil pressure/water temperature gauges and the list goes on for a total of 14 delete items on a Base R.

Regarding the trunk area of a Base R V an Electronics Package model there are also numerous differences such as the tire inflator kit, trunk liner and trunk tray all missing on a Base R.

The easiest way to identify a Base R model V an Electronics Package R model is to look for the GPS roof antenna to be missing from a Base R whereas all Electronic Package R models had the GPS roof antenna in place.

With respect to identifying chassis GR016, I will work on that scenario over the next while.
