No. The gt350 offered a Black sight line, the 350R offered Red, and the GT500 offered Gray, but the Gray is very close to white.

Just for reference.

Yea. The seat trim matches the sight line. That photo you posted looks slightly enhanced. See the window sticker...

Also, it looks like that's a GT350 with GT500 seats. Maybe it's a custom wheel. Maybe even custom seat covers. 🤷‍♂️

@PP0001 - any thoughts
Over the years seen some unusual builds come of the FRAP which includes GT350R models with no rear CF wing, etc. therefore this may be another unusual build as well.

Was thinking of you last week while watching a road test video from back in the day with the vehicle in the video being a 2016 Base R model and was chassis number GR016.

Not sure if that is the same video or not as it does not look like Randy driving GR016?

This was a MotorWeek track test which was done I believe in late 2015 at Savannah's Roebling Road Raceway.

It was a very good review of a regular production 2016 GT350R model and also really liked that they used an early production 2016 Base R model for their test vehicle.

Slightly Off topic. Don't know how to start a new topic.

Regarding the tire configuration, the GT350 (equivalent to the top performance package for the Dark Horse and former PPP2) features 305/30/19 and 315/30/19 tires, whereas the GT500 is equipped with 305/30/20 and 315/30/20 tires. Did Ford take into considerations necessary calibrations to the Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Traction Control System (TCS), and speedometer to account for the variations in tire size and configuration.

However, for individuals modifying their vehicles from the standard 235/50/18 tires on the GT and Ecoboost to 19-inch tires, is it essential to consider the implications on the ABS, TCS, and speedometer calibrations. While the 20-inch tires are within the acceptable range of the 235/50/18 tires, is proper adjustments and recalibrations necessary to ensure optimal performance, safety, and accuracy.

Also, it is very frustrating that most tire shops, including American Muscles, are not in tune with this matter.

At 16 min into this video, Randy Pobst is glowing with enthusiasm over GR016...

Please send the other video you're referring to. I'd love to watch it.

That's quite the thread hijack. If you want an discussion, post a different thread.

In short, you can make big changes to wheel diameter before the ABS or TC are adversely affected. Speedo on the other hand can be configured to your wheel diameter in software at the dealership or with the right tools.

You can see GR016 at 4:24

Right , not Randy Pobst.

It is a good review highlighting the important information, in standard Motorweek fashion, talking over the exhaust soundtrack…

Always enjoyed Motorweek growing up!

Thanks for posting as that was the video that I was referring to and I also loved watching MotorWeek when it launched in the early 1980's!

Having said that, I am not convinced that the 2016 Triple Yellow R model that came equipped with the Electronics Package was actually GR016 but could be wrong?

On more than one occasion during this MotorWeek video the camera revealed the interior of a Base R model and displayed the radio delete plate along with the AC delete amongst other delete items that came on a Base R therefore was that Base R model actually GR016?

Thanks again for posting the attached video as I am not smart enough to do what you did here!

Correct.
i believe the Magnetic/ white striped car inserted throughout this video is the same base R used in the Pobst video.
