Need to swap out my SC2s for some Michelin Pilot Sport 4s. Can decide is I want to go 325 in rear or 305 on all corners. Anyone have pictures of the wider set up they can share?

I realize most run a square setup but looking for options thanks guys

You can do either ones. Here are 325 30 R19 rears on the stock CF wheels as well as 325 25 R20 rears on a Signature Wheel setup...I have 305's up front on both as well.

If you need more just let me know. Hope this helps. Love your color BTW!

Looks great and thank you for the compliment! In your opinion do the 325s look stock? I like the extra width so I may go with this size. Here’s a picture of mine

What is nice about the 325's is that they give the tire a block look and no stretch on the rear. I like that look, but it does poke a little bit because of the offset on the wheel. To me, it looks great. I have enough room where there is no rubbing as well as gaining a wider tire in the rear. You cannot go wrong with it.

Also keep in mind, the tire itself makes a huuuge difference. Not all tires are created equal (there is no industry standard where/how a tire manufacturer takes their measurements from) ; a Michelin 325 is significantly wider and a totally different shape than a Continental 325.

I am on the other side of this coin. Michelin 325's are just toooo dang wide. But no one makes a 315/30 in anything (except SC2's obviously). The 325 Conti fits much closer to the stock 315 with a little bit of stretch, which is what I like. And like Rob said, most (if not all) of our poke comes from the offset of the wheel anyways, you just get different visual cues based off what tire shape you prefer.

But will the Michelin 325 stick out further than the stock tires? From Hollywood’s picture it looks stock. For reference this is the stock bulge View attachment 379043

If you're worried about rub, get an alignment and max out your camber in the rear as much as you can with stock hardware.

I have the 325 Michelin pilot spory 4S on the rear of my 2019 GT 350R . They look great on the carbon wheels and only slight exit the wheel well. No issue with blow back on the rear part of the fender.

@dom418 in the picture you posted, see the outermost point on the tire (by the wheel), but then the sidewall curves back in towards the car as you go up towards the tread? (I hope that made sense). With a 325 (Michelin), that inward curve (i.e. the stretch in the tire sidewall) will be gone. Your tread will now be outboard about flush with the face of the wheel. giving you more of a straight up and down, square look to the tire. But it will not go outboard much further. Just depends if you're OK with the look (because that's really all we're debating in this thread is looks). I personally don't like it, but that's just me.

So the 4s in 305 will look more factory and not as square is what you are saying?

That’s exactly what I’m saying. Actually, I’m saying break free, don’t be a sheep, and get the 325 Conti.

i put 325 Continental Extreme Contact Sports on my 350r, they are excellent tires, not at grippy, but no longer tramlines. Love the slightly wider look. No issues at all. Went with 305's in the front. Overall a great tire.
