I am planning on taking the track tires off the car for the winter and I'm curious what tire sizes everyone is running on their gt350 or gt350r. I am hoping to go with around a 325 on rear and 305 on the front.

I went 305 squared with mine and it does just fine with the PS4'S.

I'm down in FL. I use cup2s on two if my cars, ContiForceContact on the other.

What kind of winters do you have? Are you in Wisconsin or Florida?

I’m on stock CF wheels and SC2s, 305 & 325s, but I drove 2K miles a year. I’ll probably get some aftermarket wheels and do 305s front and back if I increase street usage.

I run PS4S's ......... 295 on the front and 305 on the rear ....... stock carbon fibers. These tires are amazing for the fact that they work great for me in 30 degree weather in my area. I am at 15,000 miles now and will probably get around 30,000 if I take care of them ....... ;-)

Not sure how harsh your winters are but I believe the biggest available all-season in 18" is 285 wide.

But if you are in a nice climate and can run summer tires all year round, then 305f/325r is no problem on R sized wheels. I have run Michelin Pilot Sport and Bridgestone S007A in that size. Those tires all saw some track days. I have a set of PSC2 for track, but run the street tires if it looks like it might rain. I have a set of Goodyear Supercar 3 tires going on at the end of the month.

Hard to beat the Michelins for a street tire. They do everything well. There is a good reason they are the most popular. The S007A are a good alternative and a good deal cheaper. Not as long lasting and I found them to have weird wear characteristics when pushed hard. But for street, they would probably be just fine. The Goodyears are up next.

it's shop-specific. if they have a hunter or coats "touchless" system, even better. but the single most important factor is the actual guy doing it. i cannot stress that enough. there is no substitute for experience here. call around and ask. you can also look into supercar service centers (eg porsche, lambos etc).

Hello. New to this site. Also looking for 305 and 325 setup, but for a regular GT350... not a GT350R. Can anyone confirm that? Unsure at the moment if the offsets and what not of the wheels between a 350 and 350R are the same or not. My GT350 is inbound so doing some preliminary research. Need to sell the CUP 2's, won't need them.
