I've been scouring the web looking for any R's that have been lowered with Steeda's lowering springs 555-8242. Not looking for the dual rate as I'm hoping to get an inch of drop.

I contacted Steeda direct, and they've been very helpful, but weren't able to provide any pics.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

sorry canā€™t help...but waiting to see, cause I just canā€™t wrap my brain around a 350r any lower than stock
Really. I agree. Any lower and you are going to run into all kinds of problems. In a stock R, I have to take a speed bump on an angle so as not to scrape.

I know what you guys mean, but both of my old classic's have air ride on them because I love the look of lowered cars.

Here is one pic of an R lowered. I believe it's lowered on Eibach's. It looks so good. If I end up having a lot of issues I figure I can always go back to stock, but figure I've got to at least try, lol. ;)

I think the ride height of the 350/350R is perfect.
Some of the younger folks want things slammed or lowered for that ā€œlookā€.
Times changeā€¦in high school, this was a common setup:

This is a photo from the internet, but this was what everybody wanted back in the 70ā€™s and early 80ā€™s.
Times change, fads change, and looks changeā€¦.. hell, I had red/white/blue striped jeans in 1976 and I thought they were great.
But the ā€˜15-ā€˜20 Shelbys need no height adjustment to improve looks or utility in my opinion!

@doublea user @Kobi Addiction posted some pictures of them in another thread years ago and I know there are more out there. I would also check Steeda's YouTube channel, I think they've got some shots as well.

I'm not sure if his details on the the springs are 100%. I have notes on them being 0.500" front and rear drop on a 350 (non-r), dual rate springs coming in at 195-300 front and 800-1300 on the rear.

For comparison, your stock R rates are 263 front and 836 rear on a progressive spring.

I run the Magnaride Steeda Sport springs 1" drop (555-8242). Spring Rates are 170 lb/in F & 715 lb/in R.

I run a Whipple system and she handles just fine with the slightly softer spring rates, compared to the OEM's. I do not launch the vehicle from digs, but i do roll runs and she stays planted. She doesnt squat too much or get loose on me when using any of the Magnaride modes at WOT.

I also run the Steeda Drag Sway Bar with some of their IRS components.

Personally I went FRPP, which is a 0.787" drop front and rear with progressive rates from 250 Front and 735 Rear. On a 20" wheel with 30 profile tire, ground clearance is about stock with much less wheel gap.

I don't disagree with you Dave, the 350's look great stock. I just prefer to eliminate some of the gap in the wheelwells.

Not sure if I fall into that younger category anymore either, ha.

Itā€™s all goodā€¦ if we all had the same taste in cars, we would all be driving a Ford Performance Blue GT350 with white stripes.

How about 20 inch wheels and keep the ride height stock? You'll close up the fender gap by 1/2".

My front spoiler is already scraped up at stock height. Imagine the carnage when lowered.

I prefer to stick with the CF 19's. :)

Car looks great, thanks for posting Drafty. How much ground clearance do you have on that front splitter? 3"?

Following this. I want to install the Ford Performance lowering springs, 20 inch wheels, and R splitter. I am worried about scraping, but that stance is amazing. The stock ride height with 19" has too much wheel gap for me.
