I recently sent my GT350R HEP to Shelby American for the Signature Edition package and a few other addons. I thought I would post a few pictures of the car that I got back yesterday. These are prior to cleanup. Has any else here gotten this package?

Yes. The seat covers and the rear tail piece were wrapped and stored in the trunk and I should be getting a pallet any day with the wheels and other stuff.

I just checked their site. They only do 100?
How long did it take?

I’m sorry but the only way I could be without my GT350 for four months would be if I moved to a snow climate 😉

That said, last year I almost picked up some Shelby Am. seat covers. Almost had ‘em until someone figured out they only sell them if they install.

Your car looks great BTW.

Nice - congrats. I've considered it, but couldn't convince myself. Hope you enjoy it.

What set me down the path was a car show local here in the Tampa area where there were 3 GT350R HEP's and I know of a few others in the area. So I decided to make mine a little different that is why I got the package, also because it was Shelby doing the work. At first I was told they could move them pretty because they couldn't get cars or trucks from Ford but I think they took the same amount of time as usual. The slow part was the painting of the roll cage in Guardsmen blue. It came out awesome. Now I need to find some nice harnesses and a fire extinguisher mount for the roll cage.

Looks good. But dang I would be nervous about those CF wheels being removed and then shipped back to me.

The carbon fiber wheels were removed before I sent it out. I have a set of sve wheels. This way i have another set of PS4S tires which are like gold right now.

I agree with your comments and maybe because I am an old school guy this is something that I could never do to a stock R model.

Having said that, congratulations to the owner of "LR110" and all that really matters is that the he is happy with his new ride from Shelby American!

The secret is that everything is recoverable. I have all of the original parts. It also gets the vehicle a csm number. I have 2 other R’s. There are so many in the Tampabay area that some differentiation is necessary to stand out a little. The cost of the package is essentially the seat covers and the wheels and tires. There are no engine modifications and no impact on the warranty.

Understood but after spending a considerable amount of money haing your R model shipped to and from LV and having SA modify your HEP R the cost of of putting your HEP R model back to stock (if you choose to go that route?) will not be inexpensive but if money is no object then it doesn't really matter.

As far as getting a CSM number for your R model that was assembled at the Ford FRAP, I personally don't see any value in obtaining chassis number "20SLV0024" and suggest that chassis number "LR110" is much more important to your 2020 HEP R model.

Now that you have 2 chassis numbers for your car, which chassis number will you refer to for the official chassis number as I do not ever recall any Boss 302/351, Cobra R or Shelby GT350/GT500 Mustang coming with 2 chassis numbers?

Again, I respect your decision for going this route and wish you a great deal of driving pleasure going forward!

Turned out good!

Have any pics of your other R's or a pic of them all together? :)
