They use different hats. You'll need the brackets and rotors from the GT350. Just order the Bullitt red 6 pistons. They bolt right up.hey guys!
Just curious would gt350r front calipers fit on a 18 GT PP1?
Thanks!
Thanks! I didn't want to powder coat them red since it would be to much work and I can't have the car sitting for that long. They use different hats. You'll need the brackets and rotors from the GT350. Just order the Bullitt red 6 pistons. They bolt right up.
That's the correct price with the core charge. If you don't have a core it's $50 more per side, which is still a great deal. I bought a pair to upgrade my base 4 piston calipers.I just found these at a dealer close to my house for $220 each side... That seems incredibly cheap for 6 piston brembos.
Yes this is the deal killer for me. Was considering GT350R front and rear kit which is not cheap. But then added cost of switching out my PP1 wheels I use in the Winter.GT350 front calipers will NOT fit under the 19" Performance Pack wheels.
Yeah, same here. It's possible but the GT350 to GT brake kit is expensive and requires switching out the half shafts and stuff for the rear calipers.I agree I wish I had a way to do a brembo rear upgrade on the rear of my pp1 also
On the street? No. On the track? The GT350s are better. Most of that is the feel improvement from the cast-in bridge and being radially mounted. How much better depends on how serious a track rat you are. For most it's not worth the expense and wheel limitations. Plus, have to remove the calipers to change pads. The PP brembos are excellent brakes and are not really a limitation.Has anyone drove both a GT350 and GT PP? How much better are the GT350 brakes? Is it a huge difference?
I was wondering the reason behind the cast-in bridge. I do think the design looks better, but you're right, it's so much easier to change the pads on the Performance Pack brakes. On the street?
