Man, if #15 can just keep the car in one piece, they will be a juggernaut.

Qual P1 :headbang:

Scott Maxwell went out in a rebuilt car on Thursday and captured his third TOTAL Pole Award of the season to lead Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge qualifying at Circuit of The Americas. Maxwell paced the Grand Sport (GS) session with a lap of 2:23.232 (85.456 mph) to give Multimatic Motorsports its fourth pole of the season.

It took them more than three weeks to repair the damaged vehicle. “It was a big deal going out with a rebuilt car, because with this type of car you don’t just drop parts off and put new ones on,” Maxwell said. “But the guys did a phenomenal job, with a lot of sleepless nights. The proof is in the pudding – they gave us a great car. I really thought we had a shot at qualifying in the top three today. Winning the pole is a bonus, but we haven’t won a race from the pole this year – it would be nice to do the double.”
